    Our Mission

    At Volley Up!, we are dedicated to fostering a love for volleyball in young athletes. We believe that the sport teaches invaluable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

    At Volley Up our mission is to inspire and empower young men and women through volleyball by sharing our passion for teaching, building a strong foundation in fundamental skills, and nurturing a lifelong love for the game. We are dedicated to helping athletes achieve their personal and athletic goals through high-quality training, consistent encouragement, and a focus on perseverance, self-discipline, and personal growth. While we strive for excellence on the court, we also believe in having fun, fostering positive team relationships, and creating a supportive environment where every player feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential.

    About Coach Puleo

    I'm a former college volleyball and track athlete from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, where I competed from 1995 to 1999. Since then, my passion for sports—especially volleyball—has only grown. I've spent years developing young athletes as a middle school head volleyball coach and Health and PE teacher, and I take pride in creating a positive, high-energy environment where players can grow in both skill and confidence.

    As a lifelong student of the game, I believe in mastering the fundamentals, encouraging every athlete at every level, and helping each player reach their potential through discipline, perseverance, and fun. Whether on the court or in the classroom, I strive to instill a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, and a genuine love for the sport.

    My favorite season? Always volleyball season.
